Jackson Arts Council
In order to make arts accessible to all in our community, the Council fulfills its mission to “Connect and Strengthen the Arts” through grant programs funding arts projects and subsidized tickets, providing information services and technical assistance to arts organizations, and increasing arts advocacy. Jackson Centre
Jackson Centre manages the following arts venues:
- Carl Perkins Civic Center - 2,200-seat main theater and 125-seat Little Theatre feature performances by local arts organizations and visiting performances.
- Carnegie Center for Art and History - Listed on the National Historic Register, the Carnegie reception area is the setting for art exhibits and performing groups present in the downstairs theatre.
- Ned R. McWherter West TN Cultural Arts Center - Includes 440-seat theater and art gallery featuring local and visiting artists. West wing houses the offices of the Jackson Centre Cultural Arts Division, Jackson Art Association, Jackson Downtown Development, The Jackson Theater Guild, and the Jackson Arts Council.
- Oman Arena - 5600-seat facility is the site for performances in addition to sports events, conferences and consumer shows. Portable staging, box office services, and food and beverage concession.

Nonprofit Community Education
